It’s easy to neglect proper safety hazards when you get too comfortable.
Once a year, the Heating and A/C business I work for spends an entire afternoon going over all things Heating and A/C related. All the Heating and A/C workers arrive at the wareapartment early in the morning, and we start by enjoying Tim Hortons Cappuccino and donuts together. My associate and I then spend the first half of our afternoon discussing all the modern and upcoming heat and air products! Then, we transition into Heating and A/C safety hazards and things that we need to be on the lookout for, however if there’s a modern heat and air product, we spend time learning about the multiple features, prices, and replacement techniques. If we can, we spend time learning how to install the modern Heating and A/C machine ourselves so that we’re usual with it before entering someone’s home. The second half of our afternoon is spent discussing the heat and air safety hazards, even though Aa lot of the Heating and A/C safety hazards are the same each year, our business thinks it’s substantial to be reminded of them. It’s easy to neglect proper safety hazards when you get too comfortable. My associate and I spend time covering everything from electrical Heating and A/C hazards, chemicals, ladder liability, weather conditions, and safely driving our vans. After we’re done learning about how to stay safe while servicing Heating and A/C systems, we spend the rest of the afternoon discussing multiple scenarios and how to officially handle each one. It’s a long afternoon of training and covering safety hazards, but all the Heating and A/C workers make the most of it, and the food we get isn’t too poor either.
