Growing up, my Grandpa was always working. He had a really successful HVAC supplier in our town, however everyone knew of the supplier and went to him for all of their heating and a/c needs. The supplier was around for 30 years. His father was the original owner. When his father passed the HVAC supplier down to him, he decided to expand into the neighboring towns. As expected, the reputation followed to the neighboring towns. The HVAC supplier was bringing to twice the rearena by the first year! When the supplier was passed down to my sibling, he wanted to continue the family business, however did not feel comfortable having several locations. He closed all of the locations except for the original one in our town. He had his friends manage the supplier while he focused on his career. The HVAC professionals would sporadically travel to other towns to do repairs. Everyone knows of the supplier and trusted that they would do good, quality work. Over the years, the HVAC supplier has had several owners, however the reputation has stayed the same, my Grandpa would be so cheerful to see that the supplier has upheld the reputation of quality HVAC work. There are no plans to close the supplier at any point, so this could be a family tradition for several years to come. This is fantastic as it ensures that there will tasks available as the family grows and expands.
