I have realized recently that there are multiple things that I overlook when it comes to cleaning. I have worked a full time job ever since my partner and I were first married, so cleaning some of the overlooked things was a once a year kind of thing. Now that I am a stay at condo mom, I realize that those things honestly should be cleaned more often. Our air conditioning system is one of those things that I have literally never cleaned. I know it is pretty worried considering my associate and I have been using the same air conditioning system for almost seven years now. I noticed that the family room was starting to smell a little bit musty, and at first, I could not figure out where the smell was coming from. After a little bit of searching, I realized that it was coming from the air conditioning system. I took the air conditioning system apart to see if I could find the source of the smell, and I realized that the entire air conditioning system was filled with mildew. It was very gross to say the least. I thought about just throwing the air conditioning system away and buying a brand current one, although I decided to try and disinfect it first. Thankfully, it cleaned up quite well. I updated the filter that should have been updated years ago. The air conditioning system grossed me out so badly that I decided that I should honestly disinfect my boiler as well. The boiler was not nearly as exhausting as the air conditioning system, luckily, but it was still quite a job to disinfect it. Tomorrow, I know that I will disinfect all of the vents in the house.
