I have never enjoyed decorating. It just simply isn’t my thing. There have been many times when I wished that I enjoyed decorating because I would have liked to decorate my apartments back when I was single. I am so thankful that I married a man with an artistic eye. He just loves to decorate, and he is honestly really good at it. We bought a house together a few years ago, and he decorated the entire thing by himself. It looks fantastic. Even though I don’t like to decorate, I know when a house is decorated well. My husband was not satisfied with the house for the longest time though. He said that there was something missing. He said the living room needed something else in it. After a few months of thinking about it, he decided that the living room needed a fireplace. We looked at several fireplaces, and I actually thought that they weren’t very expensive, but my husband did not agree. He didn’t want to pay a few hundred dollars for a fireplace, so we didn’t end up getting a new one. He was out garage-saling one day when he came across an electric fireplace. He asked the owners how much they were selling it for, and they basically told him that he could have it. He ended up giving them a little bit of money, but it was significantly less than what the fireplace was worth. We now have a beautiful fireplace in our living room, and my husband is satisfied with the house.
