This winter, it’s been pretty freezing outside, however because of the outside control unit, I am living my life slightly differently than I normally do.

Because I live in the south, I entirely don’t have to have a lot of Wintertide clothing, then and I don’t, however this year, though, I have found myself going to the discount stores & buying quite a few sweaters; I have numerous sweaters now that I did not have before Thanksgiving.

Another thing I am doing is using the gas furnace much more than I usually do. I have turned my central heating & cooling switch from cooling to heating. I confess that I am quite spoiled & that being able to use the center is entirely quite easy & convenient. I know that other people in the world do not have access to such convenient Heating, & I do not take it for granted. Another thing I am doing is utilizing my radiant floors & my fireplace. The heated flooring that I had installed numerous years back has never entirely been used all that much, but this year I am using it all the time. I think it helps my central heating plan have to work less, therefore costing myself and others less money, however my fireplace is being used as a source of heating as well, normally I only use it because I think it looks pretty, but this year I am trying to sit close to it much more often. My dog likes to join myself and others over there & curl up in front of that gorgeous fireplace! Another thing that I am doing is using the oven as a heater! Of course I do not request that you just turn on the oven & open the door. Of course not! However, I did cook a turkey the day before Christmas Eve, & when that turkey was done cooking, I left the oven door open. It served as a sort of temporary gas furnace in my family room, & I loved it. Once the heating stops coming out of it, I simply shut the door.

A lot of my friends and family thought that I was crazy when I said that I was going to transport to a remote area of the country.

I did not want to live by the rules enjoy the rest of society. I wanted to live off the grid. It’s strenuous to live off the grid, so you have to be actually well prepared. I purchased a tiny beach house on wheels and I dropped it up with all of the essentials that a person might need for 6 weeks of survival. I have just enough room for all of the things that I need and there absolutely is not a lot of room for anything extra. I have all of my hunting stuff under the bed and my fishing gear is outside. I live off the land whenever possible. The only time I talk to people in the neighborhood is when I go to the store for staples.. the day after I came condo from the store this week, I had a concern with the furnace in the house. I tried every troubleshooting plan I could think of and find on the internet, but nothing seemed to help. I called the closest furnace service shop. It’s a 50 mile drive from my remote location. The owner of the furnace service shop was glad to help me out, but he could not get to me until Tuesday. It was Sunday when I called. I contacted a couple of other venues, but this particular furnace service provider was the only one willing to come all the way out to the remote area. My only opportunity was to wait.

A few weeks ago, I was running errands, I was driving around town and ended up at a local tire shop.

I got an unexpected flat tire, and my husband was out of town, so I wasn’t able to call him for help.

Luckily, when I realized I had the flat, I was able to safely drive to the tire shop that was only a few feet away. When I got to the shop, I realized it was more than a tire shop, it was also a car customization shop that provided a whole list of services. They included window tinting, vehicle wrapping, suspension lowering, mechanic service, custom paint jobs and vehicle detailing, just to name a few. It was a one stop shop for all your car needs. While waiting to get my tire fixed, I inquired about the vehicle detailing service that they provided. The representative behind the counter explained the different kinds of vehicle detailing that ranged in prices from $50 for a basic detail to $250 for a deep cleaning detail. I had never had my car detailed, but I do get it washed every two weeks and it comes out looking great and I vacuum it after each wash. The sales representative explained that car detailing is important because it helps to preserve the value of the vehicle as well as improve the overall appearance of the car. It has the car looking like new. Some of the services include washing and waxing, shampooing and cleaning all the little crevices of the interior that the vacuum sometimes can’t get to. It wasn’t in my plans, but he did manage to convince me to get my car detailed after he offered a discount.

Prior to my current car, I have owned 2 cars in my life, and I have never gotten them detailed. I got my first car when I was 17 and still in high school. It was an old car that my dad bought from one of his friends. So, of course, there was no need to get the car detailed. I did keep it clean though while I had it. I kept that car until I graduated from college and then I upgraded to a new one, once I was able to find a job. Recently, my husband and I decided to get a leased car. This is my first leased car, and this has been a learning experience for me. And if you are leasing a vehicle, you know that there are a few rules and regulations that are part of the leasing contract. Additionally, you are responsible for the cost of any extra wear and tear of the vehicle. This means vehicle maintenance and upkeep is important. So, when I got my leased car, I searched for a car detailing shop near me. While I didn’t find a shop that did just car detailing, I did find a custom car shop near me that performs vehicle detailing. I wanted a reputable place where I could take my car to for a full vehicle detail every 3 to 4 months as that is the recommendation by the professionals. The cost of the vehicle detailing will be between $50 and $150 depending on the size and condition of the car. I don’t mind paying this expense for the upkeep of my car because it could perhaps prevent me from paying the extra expense that the dealership would charge for the extra wear and tear on the car.

I’m going to the local heating plus A/C shop to talk to the heating plus A/C reps about my heating plus cooling issue.

I’ve just been spending way too much of my income on my energy bills plus I can’t even afford to pay my rent now.

It’s also kind of upsetting because I’ve never had bills this high plus I’m not sure how I am going to be able to make it through the chilly Wintertime without any real heating. I’ve heard that it costs a lot more to heat a beach house than cool it so I don’t even suppose I will be able to run my heating all this Wintertime if that is the case. I’m not even that worried about it too much as I have no energy anymore to worry, so I am going to just find a solution plus actually go from there. I’ll leave the worrying to the anxious warriors from now on. I’m sure the heating plus cooling specialist will have some nice energy saving tips for myself and others that will help save myself and others money this Wintertime. Maybe the solution is particularly easy, plus I don’t even see it but periodically it takes another person to come up with a solution. I could just wear more clothing in the flat but if the temps get too low in here after that the people I was with and I am going to need some kind of heating or I will freeze the whole Wintertime. They sell small oil and gas furnaces at the heating plus A/C store so maybe I’ll grab a single of them if they are cheaper to run than the main heating plus A/C unit. They will help me and others out.
