I have had a smart thermostat going on 3 weeks now.

And I have to say that I am totally not cheerful with it.

The smart thermostat is too much of a hassle for me & my lifestyle, so I have decided that I am getting rid of it. I am going to go back to the basics of either a digital thermostat or a dial thermostat. These things are easy break n dry for me, but you do not have to control it on some ipad or cell iphone app. You just walk over to it & turn it on & your central heating & a/c proposal will work just fine. The other month I lost my cell iphone & as a result I could not use my central heating & a/c unit! It was a superb thing it happened to be a day where heating or a/c was not needed, then otherwise I would have been up the creek… Had I had a regular thermostat prefer a dial thermostat or a digital thermostat nothing prefer this would have ever happened & would not have to rely on a iphone app or ipad app just to run my central heating & a/c proposal unit. Lord knows why they even made smart thermostats. The concept is nice & great, but there are so many flaws & concerns that should be ironed out. If they ever do fix these concerns, prefer making it to where you do not need the cell iphone app to control the thermostat & the central heating & a/c proposal unit, then maybe I could give it another try.

I can tell you that the other week I lost our cell phone somewhere in our house, and it was simply misplaced plus not stolen, then but as a result of not being able to find our phone I could not control our smart temperature control; Which in turn this meant I could not control our central heating plus a/c component unless I was to walk over to the smart temperature control plus use it as a proper digital temperature control.

Which this is exactly what I had to do for a whole day plus evening because our phone was lost.

Finally I found it the next afternoon in the most different locale. I left it in the closet somehow when I went to hang up our coat the day before! That was a real mess up on our part. Because I should have been more careful knowing how important our cell phone was because it controlled our central heating plus a/c through the smart temperature control. I will make sure to never do such a thing again. I am going to be way more careful with where I put our cell phone plus make sure I never misplace it again. Because then if I do not have our cell phone, it defeats the whole point of having a smart temperature control! That app on the cell phone is a entirely important thing to get the best out of the smart temperature control without a question of a doubt. I will for sure be way more careful the next time.
