We went to my sister’s house for vacation a few weeks ago.

• They live about six hours away from us and so going there to visit is kind of a haul for us! We always pack everything up and we plan on spending the weekend or a few nights whenever we go down to visit.

The last time that we went, the weather had started cooling off just a little bit and so we decided that it would be fun to stay outside in their camper in their driveway. I usually love staying outside in their camper but the temperature outside ended up being a lot cooler than I actually thought it would be. By the time the middle of the night came, we were freezing outside. That’s when I realized that the heating system in the camper wasn’t working and I could not get it to turn on for some reason. I tried and tried to get the heating system going but no matter what I did, it would not turn on. I think that a fuse must have blown or something like that and I did not have any other heating source. I ended up having to go and bang on her door so that she would let me inside the house for the rest of the night. Even though it was really crowded inside, I told them that I would rather be crowded and not freezing than to be outside in the cold camper all by myself. Usually I like my alone time, but this time a furnace was better than being alone!

The weather is cooling off already and I don’t want to take any chances when it comes to getting my new heating system installed.

I really don’t know if I trust people that I don’t know to be in my house when I am not there. That’s the problem that I’m going to be having later on this week when the HVAC company is supposed to come and install my new electric furnace system for me. The only time that they had open for furnace installation this week is at the very same time that I’m going to have to be at the airport picking up my sister. There is no one else who can do it and so I am kind of stuck. I also don’t want to have to reschedule my furnace installation either because I would just end up getting moved all the way back down to the bottom of the waiting list and that is definitely not something that I want to do. The weather is cooling off already and I don’t want to take any chances when it comes to getting my new heating system installed. The weather here can be ferocious during the winter and I don’t want to be that person who is stuck with a little electric space heater in the middle of the snowy season! I was thinking that maybe I would just give the HVAC technician the code to get into the garage, but normally I don’t do things like that. I am one of those people who has definite trust issues, that’s for sure. I know that it will probably be fine because they are fully insured and licensed HVAC professionals, but I still have my doubts. I wish that my sister would just take a cab home from the airport!

Last week the car salesman gave me a really great deal on my new car. I was a little bit surprised when he told me the price break that he could give me, but it ended up being because he knew me from all of the times that I had worked on his heating and cooling system in his house. Over the years, I’ve worked on dozens and dozens of people’s homes throughout our area. I also work in businesses around here too. It’s interesting when you get to know people over the years the way that I have. You end up seeing them in different places around town and sometimes it can actually benefit you. At least, that is the way that it has been for me. Since I work on heating and cooling systems, people seem to trust me. Maybe that’s because I’ve been in their homes and businesses and they just recognize me as an upstanding businessman and service professional. Whatever the reason, it sometimes ends up being in my favor because whenever I’m purchasing something or even going out to dinner, I end up being at the good end of things! People around here are very friendly. For example, when I went to dinner last week the server gave me a free dessert because I fixed her air conditioning the week before. Last week, the car salesman gave me an extra $1000 off on my new car and I know it’s because I helped him fix his furnace last winter! Being an HVAC technician has its advantages.

I know that I am going to have to get a heating system for my fish soon or they are going to die.

The weather is really cooling off now and it’s just going to get colder from here on out. It gets super cold around here during the winter and the temperatures get to be below zero for much of the season. It’s one of those things that always happens, but it always seems to sneak up on me and surprise me. Whenever the weather starts cooling off, I get really worried about my fish because I love them so much. During the spring and the summer, I spend a lot of time out in my garden and some of my fish will even come up and eat out of my hand whenever I give them fish food. I was thinking about getting a heating system for them, but then I just forgot all about it and now the weather is already cooling off. I was looking online for different heating systems for ponds, but I can’t really decide which one I want to get. I wish that I had a professional outdoor landscaping specialist to talk to you, but the store that was in our area closed down last year and now I am at a loss. Yesterday I thought about calling up my local HVAC company to see if they had any suggestions for me. I don’t know if they are the right people to call though. They probably don’t know anything about heating systems for koi ponds, but who knows. Maybe they do!

I needed some help with the humidity in the house. We have been living down south here in the hottest part of the country for the past six months or so. So far, I am not really doing all that well with the changes in temperature. The place that we moved from was not nearly this hot and the worst part is that I have never had to deal with so much humidity in my entire life. The high temperatures down here would not be so bad if it were not for the humidity. I think that one of the most interesting things that I have learned since moving here is the fact that air conditioning is so important at getting rid of humidity. Before living here, I had no idea that humidity was going to be such a problem for me. I hate it, though. Whenever the house is humid, it makes everything feel damp and uncomfortable to me and I just hate it. I did not know that air conditioning systems are actually able to get the humidity out of your home, but when I moved down here I learned that really quickly. I have been running the air conditioning in the house almost constantly ever since we moved in here and it’s not even because of the heat. I know that I’m spending a fortune on the cooling bills in this house simply because I want to get rid of the humidity. I think I am actually going to call the HVAC company to see if they might have some other suggestions for me because there has to be something else that we can do to decrease all of the humidity here.

The HVAC company that we always use has some really great deals. That’s honestly why I keep using them over and over. Last time we used their services, they were offering a heating system tune up and an air conditioning tune up both for the low price of $98. If you decided to do them separately, then it was $60 each. Either way, it was a really good price but I wanted to go ahead and get both the heating and cooling system done at the same time. Whenever I make appointments to get things worked on at my house, I try to just get as much done as possible all at the same time so that I won’t have to worry about taking time off from work here and there to be at home to let the repair guys in. Whenever I was at home on the morning of the heating and air conditioning tune up, the HVAC technician got there right on time. I offered him a cup of coffee and we actually sat and had a nice little chat before he got to work on my HVAC system. I really liked him and I told him that I think that the HVAC company that he works for is probably the best one in town. I always use them, not only because of all of the great deals that they have for their customers, but because the HVAC technicians that they hire always seem to be so personable and friendly. I think that they are really trustworthy, too. I mean, if I had to, I would probably be able to give them the garage code to get into the house if I was not going to be home.

My partner Jo owns his own Heating as well as Air Conditioning supplier, and a couple of weeks ago he started offering a certainly great special for his purchasers where he would come and do a oil furnace tune up for only sixty dollars, which certainly is a great deal.

• Then Jo decided to go to the next level of service and offer his purchasers the option to get the central air conditioning unit plus the furnace tuned up at the same time.

When Jo told me that he was going to do both of these things for only $99, I thought that it sounded crazy. I actually asked Jo if he was going to be losing money for the Heating as well as Air Conditioning company by offering such a cheap price for those services. Jo told me that he would not be making unquestionably much of a profit at all, but he was keen to offer a great value to his purchasers as a thank you to them for sticking by him through the years. I guess the birthday of the Heating as well as Air Conditioning supplier being open is coming up and Jo wanted to offer some sort of birthday special to them to celebrate the success of his business. I’m certainly cheerful that Jo enjoys running his Heating as well as Air Conditioning supplier as much as he does. Even though Jo has a dozen Heating as well as Air Conditioning service techs finally working for him these mornings, he still goes out on heating and cooling maintenance calls often just because he enjoys it. I guess that Jo will actually keep doing this style of job forever, simply because he enjoys it so much. Jo is a guy who certainly prefers his purchasers, that’s for sure.

Certainly I never wanted to be a banker, but my parents certainly seemed to want me to for some reason.

I certainly wanted to go to the local technical school so that I could start work as a Heating as well as Air Conditioning service ace.

I thought about doing that for a long time, and some of my buddies back in grade school were planning on doing the same thing. I certainly wanted to go along and do the same job with them and then possibly even open up a Heating as well as Air Conditioning company with them later on, but my grandparents actually foiled those plans. They just could not get over the fact that they needed me to become a banker and follow in my father’s footsteps. They could not fathom that I just wasn’t built the same way that he was and that I needed to be doing something new with my life. I dislike finally working inside all the time, and I would certainly rather be doing a job with my hands if at all possible; Going to university I worked at that job for almost 10 years, until I finally just got sick of it. I recently went back to technical school and I got my official heating and cooling certification so that I could finally become an Heating as well as Air Conditioning service pro. Now, I am living the dream and I am doing exactly what I consistently want to do. I prefer finally working as an Heating as well as Air Conditioning serviceman here in my neighborhood and it’s certainly fun to be doing something that involves mostly working with my hands and driving around to odd sites all afternoon. It actually beats being trapped behind a desk all afternoon, that’s for sure.

Ally and I certainly are going to have to get the car’s furnace fixed before the Winter weather hits this year.

Ally usually doesn’t have any trouble with the oil furnace in our car but this year, something was going wrong with it.

Normally, Ally would not even worry about it, but we are supposed to get a frigid and icy Wintertime this year. The temperature outside is already cooling off, and we are not even into the middle of October yet. Normally, I am not the kind of person who worries about furnaces and heaters at all because I am just naturally warm all the time. Usually Wintertime is my most exciting time of the year because I don’t have to worry about getting hot and sticky with sweat all the time. It’s been this way ever since I got older, and my mom says that she was the exact same way whenever she was my age. I guess it has something to do with my middle-aged hormones or something prefer that. Anyway, normally I would not even love the heater in the car, but since I’m going to be driving Ally and my kids around all Wintertime, I know that I’m going to have to get it fixed. The weather always gets quite frigid around here in the winter, and I cannot exactly expect them to ride around in a car without a oil furnace for weeks at a time. I don’t know if I should call a car mechanic to fix the gas furnace or talk to someone prefer an Heating as well as Air Conditioning service tech about it. I guess I’ll have to find out this week.
