This is why nobody ever wants to fill me in on anything they don’t want getting out.

This past Christmas for example, I overheard my parents talking about some gifts they wanted to get for us children. I heard them saying how they wanted to get us all smart window AC units for our bedroom. I was thinking how amazing that would be and I couldn’t wait to tell my siblings about the fantastic news. Well, everybody was kind of mad at me. My siblings were mad because they were expecting those smart window AC units, however our parents ended up just upgrading the whole Heating and Air Conditioning system. They had a ductless multi-split system installed. Basically, it was better than some window AC units because we all had our own temperature controls with our own customized temperature control in our rooms. I figured that our father must’ve gotten a nice Christmas bonus because usually he doesn’t go all out like . Not only did we have the best Heating and Air Conditioning system for perfect comfort, however we got tons of other nice gifts. My brother and I got new dirt bikes, our sister got a new big screen TV for her room and we got a brand new iPhone! The awesome thing about our iPhones is that we all were able to get the special smart app for increasing the temperature control settings in our rooms! It couldn’t be more convenient for us, especially when we’re tied up doing homework or reading for tests.

I truly had no idea what I wanted to do for a career, but it slowly dawned on me that I loved finally working at the Heating and A/C supplier.

I always arranged appointments to see our professionals, and most of the people were thankful, and of course, I ran into a few unhappy customers who didn’t care about our services, but we mostly got positive reviews, but you simply can’t please all the people, that’s just the way things go in life. So eventually, our boss was saying that we needed to sell more heat and AC products and asked if I minded selling these products in strange towns, then he said to offer a free gift, request a survey, and try to sell them more Heating and A/C products. It was kind of difficult for me at first because everybody was slamming the door in our face. Eventually, I learned that people like hearing about getting a free gift, so I started with that. I was giving people free thermostat units which included a free installation from our professionals! People like hearing this, but it was good for our company because it got our people in the door where they could have the option to offer more services like HVAC duct cleaning or a free inspection of the Heating and A/C to see what repairs they might need. I was able to sell people cool stuff like UV air cleaners, smart control units, and HEPA filters. It was fun, and now I’m in a Heating and A/C trade school going for our correct Heating and A/C certification.

It was funny when there was an issue with the control device recently, everybody asked me to fix it, they said that I could handle the complication simply because I fixed the printer in the house, we all shared the printer and we all paid for ink. This just seemed like a great way to save money. The only thing I fixed was the paper-jam that happened a couple of times. They all acted like I was some kind of expert or in this case, an Heating and A/C expert. They thought I would have no issue fixing a broken control unit, and I certainly had no idea what was wrong with it and I told everybody it was entirely just old. I told everybody that if we wanted our Heating and A/C to start working again, we would have to buy a new control unit. So we all went to the store and looked at the strange control units, then one roommate suggested going for the smart control device that was on sale. It was almost the same price as a regular programmable control unit, so we opted for the smart one. It really wasn’t hard to install the control device after seeing an upgrade video. After that, everybody was saying I should be a Heating and A/C professional. I just laughed and said that it would require special training to work on advanced heating and cooling systems. The smart control device worked great and it was awesome because we all got the app on our cellphone to adjust the temperature control settings remotely! The best news was that the control device made our monthly bills go down a good amount, which we didn’t even expect.

The smart temperature control worked great and it was awesome because we all got the app on our phone to adjust the temperature control settings remotely! The best news was that the temperature control made our energy costs go down a good amount, which we didn’t even expect.
