Occasionally in life, the two of us have to give up some things in order to get to where the two of us really want to go.

That was the case with a recent camping excursion.

I have regularly wanted to take the teenagers back to where I was raised so they could see fall leaves. It’s simply a spectacular time of year & it takes our breath away when you hit it at its peak, and however, our teenagers just weren’t interested & leaving the air conditioner of condo for a camping trip. This was a great disappointment for myself and others & even for our fiance. When I was a kid, I loved going camping, and dad would grab myself and others up from school where the two of us go hike into the mountains for a long weekend of camping. It was just myself and others & him as mom & our sister we are at condo enjoying the indoor air conditioner. Dad knew a lot about camping & that region & passed all that on to me. There’s not a whole lot better memories & being out of the air-conditioning & out in the woods with our dad. And this is what I wanted a little bit for our teenagers. When I asked if they wanted to take a vacation up to see the leaves, I got the official response. So I bar acquired a bit. Instead of roughing it, the two of us made the choice to go car camping in a campsite with electricity, powder rooms & the works. It’s so crystal clear in our mind the picture of the current home in the rearview mirror as I pulled away for the last time. The two of us try to remember that our Grandfatherrents lived much of their lives genuinely close to where we are right now without any kind of residential Heating plus Air Conditioning. So it’s honestly doable to find a middle ground between staying stuck inside too much Heating plus Air Conditioning cooling plus not enough. I feel we do a pretty great job plus we’re not forking over nearly a car payment just for a/c.

I’m having a tougher plus tougher time just living in our community and this country.

For sure, this must sound like I am whining. That’s apparently the way it’s feeling these days. Just going for a walk the other evening to see the sunset, I came upon a terrifying sight. I was walking past our neighbors plus he was outside picking up pieces of his Heating plus Air Conditioning equipment. Normally I just wave plus transfer on. But this time I was curious as to what he was doing so I walked on over. I am an engineer plus that makes me pretty curious by nature. And those who suppose me are regularly asking me to help figure things out.
