My friends and I decided to go to the fair last weekend, even though it was forecasted to be extremely hot and humid. Nobody likes to miss out on the fair and the weekend was our only opportunity to attend the event. I worked 5 days in a row and Saturday was my first chance to go to the fair. I had an extremely busy week at work with lots of AC repair service calls. When the weather temperatures are warmer, there are always more problems with the air conditioning equipment. I frequently work 6 days every week when there are several AC repair calls that need to be handled. When I had the day off to go to the fair, I wasn’t going to waste it sitting at home. My friends and I got tickets so we could ride any of the rides. I don’t prefer all of them, but a couple of them always look fun. It was hot and humid, especially while we were sitting in line waiting to go into the haunted house. One of my friends pulled out a misting fan and attempted to use it to cool down. I thought he was making a joke, but he was totally serious. Everyone in the line started to look at us and I told him to put the misting fan away. He looked completely ridiculous for a grown man. A 25 year old guy doesn’t pull out a misting fan in the middle of a crowded area unless he wants to feel the wrath of the crowd.

When I finally returned to AC repairs after skipping 5 days of work, I felt like I could tackle any job that day
I was on my way back to the office after an AC repair, and I was in a traffic accident. I was sitting at a red light and a large semi truck was turning left. The guy misjudged the amount of room he had to turn and he clipped the entire front of my AC repair truck. He dragged me for twenty five yards before he realized there was a problem. The impact from the creash made my head swing back and my neck was damaged. I had an awful headache for days after the crash. I went to the emergency room and they told me to take it easy for a few days. My boss made me sit at the office and answer phones all day. It wasn’t strenuous and physical labor like working on AC or heat pump repairs, but it was still demanding. It was one of the most boring jobs I have ever had in my entire life. I waited for the phone to ring and I tried to keep the customers on the phone as long as possible. When I finally returned to AC repairs after skipping 5 days of work, I felt like I could tackle any job that day. The boss started me off with a couple of easy evaluations and tune-up calls, but it was great to be back. It’s been three weeks since the accident and I still experience mild headaches from time to time but the doctor told me that is normal with this type of injury. I can expect headaches for months.

A new furnace can cost thousands of dollars, but it is absolutely one necessary machine during the winter months. My family and I often endure frigid temperatures and cold weather for six or seven months out of the year. The temperature started to drop in the beginning of October and the last of the snow is on the ground until April. My brother had some bad news last winter, and he had to cancel his entire vacation. The problem started when the furnace began to make a strange noise. The noise was only occurring every few minutes, but it seemed to happen every time the furnace was running. Then one day my brother came home after work and the furnace wasn’t running at all. It appeared to have been off all day, because the indoor temperature was 60 degrees. When my brother found out that a brand new furnace was required, he didn’t have the money to pay for the machine unless he canceled his vacation. I would have been upset about the problem and the only solution, but my brother was a champion. He got his security deposit back from the resort and used that money for the furnace. Next year, he will try again. Responsibilities like that are the main reason why I don’t want to get married and have children. I like being able to take vacations and buy fancy cars. I like fancy and expensive dinners with wine and drinks. None of that would ever be possible if I had a couple of kids running around the house.
It wasn't my fault the accident occurred
On my way home from work on Thursday, I was in a traffic accident.
The accident wasn’t my fault at all, but that doesn’t change the fact that I am injured.
I was sitting in traffic on the freeway and the person behind me did not realize that traffic had stopped. The guy was driving a large HVAC repair truck. As soon as the accident occurred, I got out of the car. I almost passed out due to the pain in my lower back. I didn’t realize there was a lot of pain until I stepped out of the car. The driver of the HVAC repair truck called 911 as soon as he realized that I was hurt. The state police arrived about five minutes later and they assisted with all of the paperwork. Since the other driver was in a work vehicle, they needed all of the commercial insurance information for the HVAC company. The entire event was completely overwhelming and I was thankful that someone else handled all of the details. While I was in the hospital, I received a dozen different phone calls and a few room visits from lawyers and lawyer referral services. It seems clear that I have a solid case against the driver and the repair company, but I’m not sure I really want to pursue any legal avenues. After all, it was an accident and the HVAC company already agreed to pay for all of my medical bills and my time away from work. I don’t want to ruin a career or business over a fender bender.
My girlfriend’s dog is hairy and sheds everywhere
My girlfriend and I decided to get a place together. We met online and we talked 4/8 months before we decided to move into a place together. We were living in separate cities and we had only met one other time in the past. My girlfriend came to visit me in my hometown. We agreed to live in her hometown city, but we agreed to find a place that was new for both of us. Since I work online, transferring to a new area was much easier for me. It wasn’t very easy on my dog, especially when he met my girlfriend’s dog. I have a small French poodle, but my girlfriend has a large shepherd mixed with a wolf. My girlfriend’s dog is hairy and sheds everywhere. It has been awful on my allergies. My dog doesn’t shed at all and I didn’t realize how much fur would be all over our apartment. I had to buy an air purifier to keep in our bedroom, because I was having a difficult time sleeping at night. I was waking up with an itchy throat and a cough. Then I was having trouble breathing. The air purifier was the only thing that provided me with any relief. We change the air filters in the HVAC system every other week as well, and that cuts down on a lot of pet hair, dust, and dog dander. My girlfriend and I share a crazy love of dogs and all animals, and in this situation it hurts. I wouldn’t change any part of it, since we finally get to be together.
The costs to cool the house are significant
It costs a lot of money to heat and cool a house with three bedrooms.
Each month my wife and I pay about $400 to heat and cool our home. The kids complain when I ask them to leave the thermostat at 73°. A lot of people will leave the temperature in their home even warmer to save money, but I compromised at 73 degrees, because I know that my family prefers the cooler temperatures. I was surprised when I received the heating and cooling bill this month, because it was significantly larger than it has been in the past 6 months. I talked to my wife about the bill first. I suggested there might be a problem with the HVAC unit. Even though the machine was only a few years old, I first thought it was a problem with the heating and cooling device. I talked to both of my children and I told them that the bills were significantly higher. I wanted to know if they recognized anything odd or strange in the house. Neither one of them had anything to say at the time. A couple of days later, my wife came to speak with me about the heating and cooling system. She told me that the children admitted to adjusting the air conditioner every day after school. I wanted to go through the roof, but I was happy that the kids told the truth. I could have spent a lot of money to have a repair technician come look at the system. Instead, I saved money and found out why the problem was occurring. After that the kids agreed to leave the thermostat at a set position.
Everything was backed up and the power was out
Someone in the campground was trying to park a very large RV for the first time on Friday.
I saw the new resident driving up and down the roads looking for an easy spot to put the RV.
When they started backing into a spot next to me, I was worried. I was thankful when they decided to move to the other side of the street, and a larger space without as many trees. The man driving the vehicle backed up and pulled forward several times. During one attempt, he backed into the electricity and water pole. All of the power inside of my RV abruptly shut off, and the air conditioner stopped working as well. Water started spraying from the plumbing pipe and it was shooting 20 feet into the air. The driver of the RV jumped out of the passenger seat and started yelling. Luckily there was a park attendant close by. He said off the water. The campground had to call the electric company to come out and fix the power pole. The guy caused a lot of damage. I didn’t have any air conditioning or power in the RV for several hours. Thankfully I have a generator that is powerful enough to run the power and the air conditioner, because it was a very hot and humid day. I would have been miserable all day and the kids wouldn’t have been happy either. They were getting ready to play video games, because school was over and homework was done. That’s the only time they can play video games.

It was extremely hot and humid this week and the central AC unit wasn’t working very well.
It was struggling to keep up with the demand. With temperatures close to 100 degrees and the humidity at 95%, the outdoor temperatures felt like an oven. Inside the house wasn’t much better and the AC was struggling to maintain an indoor temperature of 80 degrees. There were times when it didn’t feel like any cold air was coming out of the vents. My wife and I discussed the problems with the central AC and we agreed to buy a portable AC unit for the house. I knew it was going to cost a few hundred dollars, but I thought a portable AC unit would be better than a window unit simply because it is portable. During the day, my wife could use the AC in the kitchen or the living room and at night we could put it in our bedroom. It made sense to buy the machine on Wheels instead of the one that goes in the window. My wife and I went to the hardware store to pick up a portable AC. We walked down the aisle where they are located and there was a woman standing in front of the Shelf. She was packing the last AC unit into her cart. My wife and I were totally disappointed and I even offered to pay $50 more for the portable AC if the woman agreed to sell it to me. She was in the same predicament as my wife and I and also looking for a way to cool that house during those hot summer days.
Everyone was standing around looking miserable
The office Christmas party is held on the first Friday of the month in December.
Most of the time, the party gets started before the end of the day.
The official start time of the party is 7 p.m. and all of our spouses are invited as well. I had a couple of jobs to finish in my office and I didn’t join the party until it had already begun. When I got there, everyone was standing around looking totally miserable. I quickly realized the issue was the heater. There was no heat downstairs in the break room where the office Christmas party was being held. Some of my co-workers were shivering. I decided to call the maintenance staff technician to get some help. He was already gone for the day, but I told him we were having a party and needed some help. The guy agreed to come back to the office to look at the heating situation. It didn’t take long to realize the issue. The company recently switched over to a programmable temperature control system and it was set to turn the heat off at precisely 6:30. The heat was shut off at that time and it had to be manually changed from the control room if we planned to override the program and system. Luckily, the maintenance staff technician didn’t have any problem manually overriding the system so the furnace would come on. He even gave me the key to the control room so I could turn off the thermostat when I left at the end of the night.
