I was watching the TV the other night and I saw a commercial for some heating and air conditioning company advertising their heat and a/c home services.

They were showing everything that the heating and air conditioning specialist does.

One thing I did not know what they were doing was at one point in this commercial they were actually washing the central heating and air conditioning system unit with a water hose! I have never seen that done before. I wonder what that was for? I know hosing down your central heating and air conditioning system unit after a messy storm may be a good idea just so it isn’t really dirty, but why would a heating and air conditioning specialist be doing this? I almost wanted to call the heating and air conditioning company that was on the commercial and ask them! It really interested me. Was it just for show to look cool or was this something that has to do with heating and air conditioning maintenance that I do not know about? I really would like to find this out. Maybe I will just ask my own heating and air conditioning specialist about it the next time they come to do some work on my own central heating and air conditioning system unit. I do not know. But I really wanna know what was going on! Heating and cooling systems are a mystery to me, I only know how to turn them off, turn them on and follow up with all the heating and air conditioning maintenance that needs to be done on the heating and cooling units.

So after thinking about it I actually think that this is what I am going to do.

I’m going to be moving next month to another home that I bought after selling my old home. I have everything set up with the movers. The only thing I am still thinking about is if I should move my central heating and air conditioning system myself or if I should move my central heating and air conditioning system with the movers. If I have my movers move the central heating and air conditioning system it may cost a lot more because moving the HVAC unit would be a task in its own away from moving my regular stuff. Moving the central heat and a/c unit myself with the help of some friends and a truck would probably be much cheaper and easier to do all together to be perfectly honest. So after thinking about it I actually think that this is what I am going to do. I will contact a few friends and then I will pay for the truck rental and then pay them like 50 bucks each to help move the central heating and air conditioning system. That would be fair and would save me a ton of money versus having the moving company move the central heating and air conditioning system unit. A friend of mine had told me that he thinks it would cost several hundred dollars to have the movers move the central heating and air conditioning system unit, and I am not going to be doing that! I would rather do it myself. The reinstallation is going to be a big cost as it is.

I was thinking the other day about older heating and air conditioning technology and I remembered something that did not last very long.

• But it was sort of an early version of some of the things a smart thermostat does.

And this was a remote controlled thermostat. Does anyone remember these? They were not on the heating and air conditioning market very long but I was one of the people who bought a remote controlled thermostat. It was just like the smart thermostat I have now in terms of being able to control it from anywhere in your house or if you were on your couch in another room. Of course you could not control your central heating and air conditioning system from virtually anywhere like a smart thermostat because the remote control would only work within your home. But this was a great concept that eventually ended up becoming the much more advanced smart thermostat. As a matter of fact when they first came out with the smart thermostats I ended up buying it because it was like having the remote controlled thermostat that I used to have which I loved very much. It ended up breaking on me and since they did not make them anymore, I was not able to buy another one. I ended up going with a digital thermostat after that until they made the invention of the smart thermostat some years later. But today I have my smart thermostat and I love it very much. It is very convenient and it is also a great energy saver.

So I was really going to quit anyhow.

I was fired today from the heating and air conditioning company that I worked for. The reason they gave me the can was not because I did anything wrong or am a bad heating and air conditioning specialist. But it was because I had an argument with management over the pay I have been getting. I got pretty tough and mad to be honest. They have not been paying me what other heating and air conditioning companies are paying their certified heat and a/c specialists. In a way to tell you the truth if they had not fired me I would have most likely been quitting anyhow. I already have another job almost lined up with another heating and air conditioning company. I am just waiting for them to get back to me with a start date. I found this out yesterday. So I was really going to quit anyhow. I will not mention that I got fired if anyone asks me at the new upcoming heating and air conditioning company job that I will be having. I will just say I quit to come work for them if asked. The heating and air conditioning company I was working for is going to end up losing a lot of their heat and a/c workers if they do not start paying more money and paying what the going rate is for heat and a/c specialists. Many may end up starting their own heating and air conditioning companies and becoming independent heat and a/c specialists if this kind of thing keeps up.

I got the biggest surprise from my local heating and air conditioning company the other day.

I got in the mail a free voucher for free heating and air conditioning repair! It is good for up to 2 years if my central heating and air conditioning system ever breaks down in that time.

This is a value of possibly over three hundred bucks or more. The reason they mailed these to certain customers was to say thank you for being a loyal customer for several years. I guess being a steady customer to this heating and cooling company has its benefits. You never see heat and a/c companies giving away free heating and air conditioning repair. This is something way different! I really appreciate it too. It shows that this heat and air conditioning business really values their customers and every so often will give out major free stuff like this. This is not the first either. This is just the biggest in terms of value. The last time they gave a free voucher for something was when they sent out ones to get free HVAC tune up and check ups a few years back. That was nice as well, but not nearly worth as much as a complete free heating and air conditioning system repair. Things like this keep me using this heat and a/c company and I will continue to use them because they are so great. They have good prices as it is and then their heating and air conditioning specialists are very nice and really do their jobs to the fullest. I could not ask for anything more.

I have just reached the milestone of working as a certified heating and air conditioning specialist for 10 years now.

That is a whole decade of working in the heating and cooling business.

I never thought that I would ever reach this point. Because when I first graduated heating and air conditioning school and ended up working in the heat and a/c business for the first time I honestly was having issues within myself. I really did not think I could cut it as a heating and air conditioning specialist and was actually thinking about just quitting and going back to school to learn another trade for another career all together. But as time moved on I gave my all and eventually I fell into it and got the hang of everything. Today a decade later I am very comfortable being a certified heating and air conditioning specialist and I have been working successfully as an independent heating and cooling worker for the last 3 years having my very own heating and cooling business. This was not an easy task to get up and running and get a steady workflow going. But I did it! And this is the way I am going to keep working in the heating and air conditioning business until the time comes that I have to retire. At least I hope so. If my independent heating and air conditioning business working as an independent heat and a/c contractor ever isn’t working out I can always go back and work for a heating and air conditioning company in my local area in the town in which I live.

My girlfriend has an issue with her heating and air conditioning system in her car.

Me being a certified heat and a/c specialist who actually works as an independent contractor thought maybe I could be of some help.

However dealing with car heating and air conditioning systems is not something us heat and a/c specialists do or were ever trained on. I figured I would just use my knowledge of regular heating and air conditioning and try to fix it that way. Needless to say this did not work. Both types of heating and air conditioning systems are totally different. I did not want to make things worse, so I told my girlfriend that the best thing she could do is just take it to the auto mechanic and have them fix it. They will know what to do. I think in the future they should add car heating and air conditioning repair to the training they give HVAC specialists in heating and cooling school. I think it would help get more jobs and also it could be much more convenient for some. But that is just my opinion. Having a car heating and air conditioning system and a central heating and air conditioning system are 2 different things. And auto mechanics deal with car heating and air conditioning system units. It really is part of the car and how it functions more than the ways of standard heating and air conditioning. I explained this to my girl and she understood totally. So I hope the auto mechanic can fix her car’s heating and air conditioning system.

The bar in town is someplace where everyone goes.

In the winter time months of the year they have happy hour from 5 to 6pm which is a great thing.

Drinks are cheap and they even have dinner available if you want to buy it. I love going to happy hour to unwind after a long day of work that time of the year. But the main reason I really like it aside from the reasons I already mentioned is because that have great central heating in there! The heating that they have is actually from their commercial heating and air conditioning system unit. Having commercial heating in a bar is not something you run across all the time. But this place takes pride in their indoor comfort which in turn keeps the customers coming in. If it was not for the great heating they have from the commercial heating and air conditioning system I probably would not go to happy hour almost every single day in the winter time months of the year. It is in fact the central and commercial heating that keeps me wanting to go. It is great seeing friends in town and chatting about our work days over a beer and sometimes meal. But it is that great central heating from the commercial heating and air conditioning system that keeps me going over there from 5 to 6pm in the winter time months of the year. In the summer they do not have happy hour, but I will tell you that their central air conditioning from the commercial heating and cooling unit is just as nice!

When there is a lot of wind in the area in which I live, it always causes bad air quality.
