When I was a kid we built a fort completely out of HVAC units.

We lived out in the middle of nowhere, and oftentimes me and my friends had to get creative with our games.

One day while exploring the forest we found a large shipping container full of HVAC units. There were several central air conditioners and window air conditioners on one side of the crane. We pulled out all the central air conditioners and used them as a foundation for the fortt. Then we built onto the central air conditioners with the window air conditioners. After we emptied all the air conditioners out of the crate, we looked at the furnaces. There were hot water boilers, gas furnaces, oil furnaces, and electric furnaces. We used The gas furnaces and oil furnaces for a blockade. Then we took out the hot water boilers and made a large wall all the way around our forte between the trees. Our last mission was to figure out how to incorporate the air purification systems into our fort. We took out some of the air filters and used them as small windows between window air conditioners and central air conditioners. We also use some of the heating and cooling equipment to build pretend rooms and weaponry quarters. By the end of the day we had a huge fort made completely out of air conditioners, air purification systems, and furnaces. We had some friends who also used some of the HVAC units to build their own fort and we had several battles. It turns out that air conditioners and furnaces work great as forts.

As many people know, I purchased a bus and transformed it into a home.

I initially had only a solar window air conditioner as my main HVAC unit.

This window air conditioner worked really well in the summertime to keep me cool but I quickly decided I wanted to build a central air conditioner that would fit on my bus to keep the entire bus at a consistent temperature. I used this central air conditioner to build a type of sound controlled HVAC and I was very content with the results. Well I felt great in the summertime, the winter was much more difficult. When autumn came and I began getting very cold in my bus I realized I needed to build or purchase some kind of furnace. I did some research and got some tips for a few HVAC technicians before deciding to build the furnace myself. My biggest dilemma was that it would take me a few weeks to build this furnace and I couldn’t Indore the code for that long. I drove to my nearby cooling and heating business and purchased two portable space heaters to put at the end in front of my bus to keep it warm. I ordered the heating and cooling equipment online and it came in the mail very quickly. The furnace came together nicely and by the time I was done I had built a big electric furnace that ran on solar energy. I lived happily for many years in my bus and kept it cool with my central air conditioner and warm with my solar electric furnace.

Many years ago I purchased a school bus and transformed it into a home. I initially had a window air conditioner on the bus to keep it cool but I could only use the window air conditioner when I was by power source. When I heard about solar window air conditioners and other solar HVAC units I quickly went to a nearby cooling and heating business and purchased a solar window air conditioner. Now I could use this a/c unit to keep my bus cool all day. As the years passed I decided I wanted to build a central air conditioner for my bus so that both the front and back could be the same temperature. I did some research on zone controlled HVAC and figured it would work in a school bus with simply a central air conditioner that had air ducts on the front and back. I rented a small garage that I used as an HVAC shop while I built the central air conditioner for my bus. I was lucky to find someone who wanted to purchase my window air conditioner for more than I originally bought it from the cooling and heating business. I use the money from the solar window air conditioner to purchase heating and cooling equipment for my new central air conditioner. My last step in building the a/cunit was to purchase air filters and put them inside the air ducts of the central air conditioner. These air filters will ensure that my bus has good indoor air quality and that my SEER rating was great.

Technology has advanced and furnaces, air purification systems, and air conditioners have gotten better, we have also gotten more expensive.

I recently visited my local cooling and heating business searching for a new hybrid HVAC unit or a zone controlled HVAC system. As I began searching I became overwhelmed by the different types of air conditioners and furnaces available. I quickly realize that I may want a different option Than a zone controlled heating system or a hyper HVAC unit. There was a cooling expert on staff who helped me organize in my mind the different kinds of air conditioners and furnaces that would fit my situation. With a lot of guidance from the cooling specialist in another HVAC technician I was able to settle on a multi split air conditioning system. When I was on my way to check out I noticed the part of the store that held the air purifiers. I had one of the air purifiers for a long time but was afraid they would be too expensive for me. My coworker had recently told me of a deal she had made on a whole home air purification system at her local heating and cooling business, and I hoped that I would find the same deal on an air purifier of some sort. To my delight I discovered that this cooling and heating business also had a sale on their whole home air purification system and I was more than happy to purchase the air purifier that day. I still like to go into the HVAC store every now and then to see if I can find a deal on a furnace or window air conditioner.
