If spending more to save more doesn’t make any sense to you, believe me it really should if you think about it.

What I am mainly talking about is air filters.

Not just one specific air filter for a central heating and air conditioning system or an air filter for an air purification system, but any air filters! When you buy air filters in bulk you will spend more yes, but in the long run you save more too. Because first off, if for a central heating and air conditioning system for instance, you will not have to go out and waste gas buying air filters when you have a backlog of them. Second off, a lot of air filters that get sold in bulk are discounted compared to if you buy the air filters single. That is the other way to save money. I have been doing this with air filters for my central heating and air conditioning system for about a year now and I noticed the savings I was having within the first 4 months alone. I buy standard air filters and am still saving. I could even do this with HEPA brand air filters if I wanted to, but these can get a little pricey for my budget. So I am happy buying the standard air filters for my central heating and air conditioning system and saving because of getting them in bulk. I really love doing this and I know you will too once you see the savings!

I was expecting a package from UPS the other week.

When it arrived I knew something was wrong.

The size of the package was way too big for what I was expecting and also the address was off by 1 number. So I knew the package wasn’t for me, but there was no house address on my street with that number. I decided to open it up and found that it was a bunch of air filters for central heating and air conditioning systems! I do not know who ordered this or what the correct address would be because the name was just “resident” on it. So what else could I do but keep them? I wasn’t going to waste these because they were HEPA air filters for central heating and air conditioning systems which can get to be pretty expensive. So since there was no way to find out who’s these really were I did not feel bad about keeping them at all. I figure whoever it was will report a lost package and get it right, then receive the air filters that they paid for. I will enjoy using these HEPA air filters for my central heating and air conditioning system once my current air filters run out. I don’t buy HEPA air filters because they are too expensive for me. But since these ended up on my doorstep by mistake and there was no way to find out where they belong, I will have the treat of getting HEPA air filters for my central heating and air conditioning system. But where is my original package?

While in my first year of college going for a journalism degree I had a chance to get some extra credits. This was for me to write a special paper on the heating and air conditioning industry. I took the offer to get the extra credits even though I knew nothing about the heating and air conditioning industry. What I did was tons of research on the internet and by making some phone calls to local heat and a/c companies to get the general information and answers to questions. All of this over the course of a few weeks gave me all the information I needed about heating and cooling to be able to successfully write the paper! I wrote the paper on the heating and air conditioning industry and ended up getting an A plus grade on it. The instructor at the college asked me if I had some kind of family that worked in heating and air conditioning or if I myself may have had some previous experience. I told them no and how I gathered all of this information about heating and air conditioning on my own and learned enough about it to write the paper. The instructor was very impressed that I was able to get that much information about heating and air conditioning and that I wrote the paper as if I actually knew what I was really talking about. This is what makes a good journalist and why I was able to get the extra credits for the assignment!

I bought a portable air purification system not that long ago and it had been doing a great job in cleaning the indoor air quality in my bedroom. Till recently that is. It seemed to have been doing more worse than good and I couldn’t figure out why at first. But then I found out. The air filter in the portable air purification system was already used up! And this was a HEPA air filter that came with the portable air purification system. Buying replacement air filters of the HEPA brand for this portable air purifier is not cheap. And the fact they get used up so quick is just mind blowing and not in a good way. I mean couldn’t HEPA make an air filter that could withstand longer? Their air filters for central heating and air conditioning systems can, so why not for the portable air purification systems? It just doesn’t seem to make all that much sense to me to be totally honest. But never the less, the air purifier itself is great so I have to spend the money and buy the new HEPA air filter for my portable air purification system. I just hope that maybe I can find some on sale somewhere so I can get maybe a few of them. It would be worth to spend the money now so I do not have to deal with the inconvenience of needing to do this every other month or so. All around it is a great air purifier though. It just needs a longer lasting air filter option!

Back when I was a kid I remember I used to always love to go to the local library in the summer time months of the year.

It was mostly because of the great central air conditioning that they had in the place along with the peace and quiet in there.

It was a very relaxing experience all around, even for a kid of 12 years old like I was at the time. Also back then having central air conditioning in your home was quite rare. We did not have central air conditioning, so the chance to enjoy and relax in the pure indoor comfort of central a/c in those days was a major treat. And being able to go to the library to get this for free was even more of a good thing. I spent so much time in the library in those summers back then one would think that I was a real book nerd. When in reality I didn’t read that much. I was interested in very little to read about. I would rather watch something on the TV. I still am like that as a middle aged adult today! But when I think back to those days in the library enjoying that central air conditioning system in the summer, it actually has some really fond private memories for me. I did not have friends with me or anything like that. I always liked going alone and hanging around in there. It was just the experience I guess of the era and time period itself mixed with the wonderful central air conditioning!

Today there is no way I could even think about lifting something like a heavy window air conditioning system! Window air conditioning systems back then could get quite heavy.

As we get older one thing that becomes an issue is heavy lifting. We can not do the kind of things we did when we were young and younger. Like for instance back when I used to every single summer have to haul a rather large and heavy window air conditioning system up from the basement to the living room. Today there is no way I could even think about lifting something like a heavy window air conditioning system! Window air conditioning systems back then could get quite heavy. I know they still make window air conditioning systems today, but I have no idea if they are just as heavy as they used to be or if they are now lighter. Regardless, when I think back to all the heavy lifting I did with that old and large window air conditioning system back in the day, it makes my body hurt! I would probably kill myself trying to lift one of those window air conditioning systems today. This is why I am so glad that central heating and cooling is affordable and the normal when it comes to heating and cooling your home these days. I would have probably had to have hired some kind of physical labor specialist today if window air conditioning systems were still the main way to get air conditioning in your home because there is no way in the whole wide world that I would have been able to handle such a heavy lifting task in my older to middle ages as I am now.

In time, I hope for it to grow to be a big heating and air conditioning company

There’s the old saying that if you try you will succeed. This is both true and untrue at the same time. It is untrue in the fact that just trying something once and then giving up if it doesn’t work will not make success obviously. However if you keep trying, eventually whatever it is you are trying to accomplish will happen. This was the case when I went to start my own heating and air conditioning business. I had been tired of working for heating and cooling companies to get little to no advancement in my career. So I took my life savings and gave it a shot to start my very own heating and air conditioning business. Well, it took me a few years before I was finally able to get a steady client base and be able to start hiring other heating and air conditioning workers to build what was an independent heating and air conditioning contractor business to a regular full on heat and a/c company. It is pretty small at the moment but successful. In time, I hope for it to grow to be a big heating and air conditioning company. Had I gave up when things were slow in the beginning I would have never got to where I am at today with this heating and air conditioning business. That is where the old saying comes in. I really tried and gave my all, kept going and taking risks and finally it all paid off from the hard work that I did to make the heating and air conditioning business work out.

I had a very unusual job today at the local heat and a/c company that I work for.

• Well, it wasn’t the actual job itself.

That was just a standard heating and air conditioning system repair. What made it so long is that it was an out of town trip. Someone who did not like their own local heating and air conditioning company for whatever reason reached out and called us to come fix their central heat and a/c unit! It was a job that paid a little extra due to long distance trip charge, but I did not see much of that extra money. So having to do that long drive out of town to the next town over and back plus the actual heating and air conditioning system repair made it for a very long job and a very long day. Because when I returned I had 2 other heating and cooling appointments before my day was done. When I got home all I wanted to do was have dinner and sleep. It was that tiring having to go all that way for a heating and air conditioning repair job and then come back to the local area, do some more heating and air conditioning repair and then go home for the day. And the even worst fact about all this is that it was not on a Friday! This was mid week, so I had to go and come back to work the very next day and do it all again. But at least I did not have any long distance heating and air conditioning repair on the list for the rest of the week.

When you hear the words convenience store you think of a junk food place and gas station where the food and other things are overpriced right? Well, we have a convenience store here that is actually quite the reverse.

It isn’t part of a gas station and the prices are not high.

Also, they have more things than your standard convenience stores. One of which is air filters for your central heating and air conditioning system! I couldn’t believe it! When I found that they had decent air filters for central heating and air conditioning systems. And not just any air filters, they actually had HEPA brand air filters which are the very best you can get for any central heating and air conditioning system or even air purifiers. I have a portable air purification system, and that takes HEPA brand air filters. So at my local convenience store I am always buying air filters for both the central heating and air conditioning system as well as my portable air purification system. Having these air filters available at the local convenience store is just that, sheer convenience! I do not know of any other places in the state that are like this where you can buy air filters for heating and cooling systems along with air purification systems. And the fact that HEPA air filters are available here makes it even more special. I do not take this for granted and consider myself pretty lucky to have such at thing so close to me.
