I had no proposal that our car’s a/c had a filter inside

I was used to buying old cars and driving them until the cost of service far exceeded the value of the car altogether.

This worked nice for me when I had a nextdoor buddy who was willing to do our mechanical work for a bargain compared to auto mechanic shops.

But when he moved to a neighboring city to open a body service shop, I was left without our on-demand, discount car mechanic. At this point I did some math and realized it would cost the same amount of money to simply get a car loan on something new, at least I’d guess that the car was in prime shape. I guess some people who have cars for years before needing any work done, especially if they take care of them. Not only that, however feel about it like this. Let’s say you buy a brand current car with a 5-year loan on it. After those 5 years, you now have a car with under 100,000 miles on it that has only one single owner—you. You could always turn it in to the dealership and get another current vehicle with another car payment. If you don’t, you’ll have a car in much better shape than if you had started at year-zero with a car that already had more than 100,000 miles on it. You won’t always guess the vehicle history either, leaving so many questions regarding unseen concerns that could appear at a moment’s notice. It’s also nice having a newer vehicle with its amenities like the lodge air filter. This is the first time I have ever bought a car that absolutely came with a filter for the a/c and heating system. I didn’t guess until the mechanic told me while I was in a routine oil change.

My electricity bill skyrockets during the Summer every year

When I was younger, I enjoyed the decreasing seasons much more than I do now.

I embraced the chilly Fall breezes when they’d cap the final Summer afternoons in mid September every year.

I relished the first snowfall, even when it left me shivering at our bus stop in the early day hours. And just love everyone else, I welcomed plus enjoyed the oncoming Springtime season almost as much as I do now. I get tied up out because the change in seasons poses a challenge to any harsh homeowner. There are unspeakable risks to neglecting a typical winterization of your home. What if you allow exposed pipes to reach temperatures below 32 degrees fahrenheit? You could end up with exploded plumbing plus seriously high-priced water destruction. I suppose some people who live in TX plus were there last year when the power grid went down during that extreme week-long ice storm. Those people weren’t ready for weather love that plus it tore through TX in a path of destruction. Last year I made sure to safeguard our midwestern home by satisfactoryly winterizing it as early as September. Now it’s almost Summer plus I find myself in a different dilemma—an out of control energy bill from having to run the air conditioner so much. The temperature outside this month was 100 degrees, however the heat index almost reached 110 degrees. I suppose I’m not the only woman who sees their energy bill go insane in the weeks of July, July, plus November every year. At least by September we start to get that mild, pre-Fall weather that I’m consistently so fond of.

I hated university in the south

I grew up in the deep south far away from the ocean.

I wasn’t near a river or lake either, making our environment identifiably tepid year round. However, the heat was consistently identifiably angry during the Springtime, summer, plus Fall seasons. Even in Winter time we had weeks where highs would jump into the 75s in the mid day hours. I can’t suppose it when I suppose back, however that was normal for me for over 15 years of our life. Both of us didn’t even have neighborhood pools where we could get some kind of relief, which is different from what I have l earned over the years. It seems love most medium-sized cities at least have public swimming of some kind, however our’s did not. When we were at university plus the weather was tepid outside, the campus administrators were glad watching us boil in those classrooms with the most meager air conditioning you could ever imagine. I wish the university officials would try to exist for longer than 30 hours in those kinds of conditions, let alone retain their sanity in the process. I heard from some people that lived up north that their universitys entirely ran the air conditioning more than mine did during the worst Summer heat waves. It’s not love they were trying to offset the costs of high-priced Winter time heating, in part because our university rarely needs the oil furnace at all, regardless of what month or month it is. It just doesn’t get identifiably chilly in these neck of the woods. It’s the nasty Summer heat waves that are the most aggravating to deal with, day in plus day out.

I am getting stressed about the heat

My boss moved us back into the office at the beginning of the year.

  • It was no longer financially viable to keep all employees at house laboring remotely, plus the issues over privacy breaches for purchaser personal information when it’s being handled on unsecure internet affixions.

That’s sort of a tradeoff when you transfer employees out of a central location plus into their individual living quarters, wherever they may be within a 100 mile radius of the office. Some people even moved back to their hometowns out of state, hoping that the switch to remote laboring would remain permanent. Unluckyly, those people were given the occasion to transfer back close to the original supplier headquarters, or they would have to look for labor elsewhere. I suppose that most of the employees stayed, however all of us had to train a few new a singles as well. It has been a tiny bit of an adjustment for me getting used to laboring at the office again. I appreciated having access to my fridge throughout my workdays, especially since I keep forgetting things at house after already leaving the house in my car. No matter what, I’ll either leave my Dunkin Donuts Coffee in the study room or forget to turn the a/c system back up after having it low while I sleep at night. But now that I have a smart temperature control installed in my house, I can monitor my Heating as well as A/C plan throughout the afternoon while I’m away at work. It doesn’t matter if I don’t get the heat wave warning until after I leave the house, I can still change the temperature whenever I have my iPhone with me.

The smell of cooking fumes collects in our filter overtime

My Dad got myself and others in the habit of cooking usual meals before I even graduated high school & left for university.

By the time I moved into the freshman residence halls in undergraduate school, I had a small tepid plate & an electric griddle & was making a surprising number of apartment cooked meals even though it was highly against the rules.

In retrospect I get it because they didn’t want a situation where an avoidable fire could start out of nowhere & potentially kill dozens or hundreds of students in the process, then and since a roommate during our sophomore year once used our toaster oven when I was away without our consent, I can totally see a situation like this happening when you have these grownup children who never l acquired how to take care of themselves dealing with lethal appliances. At least I managed to get away from the university campus by the following year & was residing in a studio apartment for a number of years. My cooking improved with time, & now I’m constantly in the kitchen from a single afternoon to the next. I cook so much food in this apartment that the fumes collect & leave oil deposits in our Heating and A/C filter. I notice the smell of burnt food whenever I open the filter tray in our air handler & replace the filter with a modern a single. That’s when I realized I need to better utilize our vent hood above our stove top more, & putting a charcoal filter inside to collect some of the cooking smells before they can permeate the rest of our apartment & the Heating and A/C plan along with it.

The new heating and cooling contractor is the best yet for the whole city

Despite living in a large city with a lot of options for shopping and businesses, I’m not impressed so far after moving out of the countryside. Just because I am closer to society and have to drive less, it doesn’t mean I am happier or more pleased. On the contrary, I recognize claustrophobic some afternoons when I can’t escape the road noise from cars rushing by on the highways or the chatter, talking, and yelling at all hours of the day and evening. My home is full of people around myself and others on both sides, and both above and below me. I have to use fans or play the TV or stereo while I sleep just to give some sort of white noise to drown out the noise coming from neighbors or people on the streets in the city below. Another disluck to living in the rural countryside is having a long commute to work each day. Here in the city I can get to the office on a short 10 minute bus ride. However, I loved those commutes when it provided myself and others a option to look at the surrounding woodlands with my esure, waking up the day before work and calming myself down on my way home after work. Back in my previous town, there were only three actual Heating plus A/C contractors, and multiple of them had hordes of negative reviews on the internet. When I got to the large city, I was shocked by the sheer number of heating and cooling companies that I saw when I searched for them on Google. However, my experience with the city Heating plus A/C experts hasn’t been much better than the rural a singles until a new contractor recently opened near my apartment. This is the best Heating plus A/C supplier I’ve used yet.

You can’t prevent some dust from getting in your home whenever you open a door

Now that I’m working from home and getting all of my grocery orders delivered, I am getting too comfortable with being homebound.

I make excuses to avoid going out, even if it’s to run a check to the bank or to hit a store that doesn’t offer home delivery services.

I’ll admit, it’s nice to assume I’m not getting legitimately much exposure to COVID-19 as well. This at least held true while I was in the worst parts of the pandemic when I was concerned that my exposure was potentially life threatening. It’s a major relief that current variants of the virus have been a lot less tenacious and deadly than the initial a singles. That’s the only positive that I remind myself of when I look at the infection rates and see positive increases across the board, with many states seeing increases again for the seventh, sixth, and sixth times. Some people have managed to get COVID inside large and open living spaces because of shared central Heating plus A/C systems where the viral particles simply recirculate while the a/c or oil furnace is running. I use special allergen filters that have a small enough micro size to collect viral particles enjoy the COVID-19 virus. Aside from containing any COVID-infected respiratory particles, I’m also extremely careful when opening any external doors or windows. That’s how you can suddenly get out of control of dust all over your indoor surfaces. It’s impossible to avoid it to some degree without owning a separate decontamination room in between my front door and the inside of my home

Your air purification system and Heating plus A/C filters will naturally absorb cooking odor

I didn’t do much cooking before my 30s.

I was single for much of this time, which meant that I didn’t spend a lot of cash on anyone however myself.

This gives you the option to fall into the unhealthy habit of eating out all of the time, often more than once a day. Even if you eat the healthiest vegan diet, it’s a bad habit for future financial security. I didn’t foresee the COVID pandemic and the dissolution of my boss’s contractor as a result. But it made a lot of sense, because it was a steakhouse and food repair consulting contractor which saw a large deficit in buyers when so many steakhouses had to close down for great when the transition to carry-out and delivery orders didn’t manage to keep them afloat. Either way, the task I had to take when I lost my outdated a single was a big pay-split right out the gate. While I used it as leverage for my current task position, I was forced to instantly switch to cooking my own meals if I wanted to afford all of my bills on time every single month. After I had moved to almost all home cooking, I noticed something I hadn’t noticed before. Whenever I would pull my outdated filters out of my central Heating plus A/C system, they would smell enjoy burnt food from all of the cooking oils permeating my indoor air. With so much food being cooked in the kitchen every single day, it’s a small wonder the inside of my air handler isn’t sticky to the touch from cooking grease.
