When I graduated high school I did not know what I wanted to do. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to work locally or go to school. My parents told me that I should go to school, it didn’t have to be far away, but if I wanted to stay locally they said that they would support any decision that I made. My first year of college wasn’t all that great because I didn’t know what i wanted to do. It wasn’t until i was home from school on holiday break when my parents left to go on a mini vacation. I was home alone and the heater broke down. I called my parents and they told me not to touch the heating system because of how complex it is. They wanted me to immediately call the local heating and cooling technician. I called the local heating and cooling technician and he came to my parents house. I watched the hvac technician work the heating system, flipping on switches and pulling the front face of the heating system off. The Heating and Air Conditioning supplier I use is elegant, even though I hate having to be cabin for the appointments.

I live alone, so I always have to take a personal afternoon to let the Heating and Air Conditioning professional in… Periodically, I can get away with a long lunch break, but it’s a risk because I never know which Heating and Air Conditioning professional is going to show up and how quickly they’re going to work… During my last Heating and Air Conditioning repair appointment, I was told I’d need to replace my Heating and Air Conditioning system within a few months. It was over 12 years ancient and costing me an arm and a leg to keep running. It felt like I was always calling the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier to come repair it and I didn’t have numerous personal days left. I was upset about the Heating and Air Conditioning installation though, because I knew I didn’t know how long it would take to remove the ancient Heating and Air Conditioning system and replace it with the new Heating and Air Conditioning system. I took one personal afternoon and prayed that the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier could have everything done in one afternoon instead of two. To my surprise, they detached the ancient Heating and Air Conditioning system and replaced it with the new Heating and Air Conditioning system in under 3 hours! Once the new Heating and Air Conditioning system was installed, they spent another 30 minutes cleaning up their mess and they were out the door before lunchtime. I tried to do everything I could to help my heating system when it began running inefficiently. I started noticing how often the heating system was running and how hard it was to heat my apartment evenly. Before calling an Heating and A/C professional, I tried replacing the air filter to see if that would help. The outdated air filter was covered in dust and debri, so I felt confident that the clean air filter I was replacing it with would do the trick. However, even though the clean air filter genuinely helped a little, I didn’t notice a significant change in the frequency my heating system was running. Next, I inspected the outside machine to see if there were any branches or tall grass covering it. I cleared a few sticks and trimmed the bushes back, but I still didn’t notice a difference in my heating system efficiency. I broke down and hired an Heating and A/C professional because I knew I’d done what I could to get my heating system running normally again. The Heating and A/C professional was kind and considerate and she was entirely impressed with me for replacing the air filter and clearing the outside unit, however unfortunately, the real issue was the fan limit switch. The switch was faulty and the control machine wiring was tangled. I was upset about the cost to repair the limit switch, but the Heating and A/C professional said it was particularly inluxurious. I’m glad I did what I could before calling an Heating and A/C professional, and I’m glad the situation wasn’t worse than it was.

When I get to work I automatically plug in my portable heater. My portable heater is small and it conveniently fits beneath my desk. My heater helps me stay warm especially when someone opens the front door of our office. Unfortunately my desk is located right near the front door so when we have a visitor I can feel the draft go right beneath my desk. Luckily the portable heater that I have has added this chilly factor. We have started a new process in the office when it comes to new hires. We used to have a new hires do all of their paperwork at the store level, now we have our new hires do paperwork at our office. We will go next door to our other office which is upstairs and have them fill out the necessary paperwork. But when you get up there you think it would be warm since heat rises. That is not the case, I was informed by my boss that the reason why it is so cold is because there is no air ducts for heating and cooling to distribute warm or cold air and there’s not even a thermostat! Plus he said that the insulation at that side of the building is not insulated very well. Their goal was to limit the amount of money put in in that side of the building so they could invest more technology and money at the side of the office that I work in. I just wish they could fix where my desk is located so I wouldn’t be so chilly every time someone walks in.

In the summertime where I live there is so much going on.

When I have friends who want to get together and plan ahead of time I always tell them that if I have to cancel last minute due to work please don’t get mad at me.

Where I work I am always on call. It doesn’t matter where I am, I am required to drop everything that I’m doing and go to where my work needs me. For example there was this one time where I was helping my boyfriend install his window air conditioner into his bedroom. He does not have central cooling or heat in his home. His apartment is very small and he relies on his ceiling fan and window air conditioner in the summertime and his portable electric heater in the winter time. When installing his window air conditioner you need two people to lift it up because it is very heavy. So when I was helping him install his air conditioner I got a call from work, and I knew that I had to go somewhere immediately. As I answered my phone I thought that I could hold the air conditioner with one hand and answer my phone with my other hand. Turns out that I was wrong. The window air conditioner fell straight on the floor, cracking the bottom of the air conditioner’s plastic. My boyfriend was a little upset but he realized that it would not affect the functionality of the air conditioner. I literally did “drop everything” to answer my phone and to go for where work needed me. Whoops!
