I’ve always had a love for animals, especially for dogs.

My dad had a Redbone Coonhound when he was younger and we all decided that that was the best dog for us.

We bought our Redbone Coonhound from a small farm about 30 minutes away from our home. It was in a listing in a newspaper for $150. Once we got to the farm there was only a boy and a girl left. We decided to get a girl. The woman was very nice and realized that the dog was going to a very good home so she gave us the dog for only $100. Talk about a deal. A lot of people purchase dogs at pet stores or at overly priced breeders. When we brought our dog home we named her Sophie and it was in the wintertime. It was pretty cold so we put her small bed in front of the air register. Sophie would always go there when the heat was on. She’s nine now and she still goes in that same spot when she was a puppy. She soaks up the heat. Sophie also loves the Sun and sometimes when it’s sunny out she will bark because she wants her bed near the window so she can soak up the heat from the sun’s rays. We like to keep up with our HVAC system because we know that our dog loves the heat and that we also need the heat to live and survive during the cold winters.

A year ago my house was broken into while I was asleep. I was woken to the sound of my living room window breaking. My husband is a hunter so he keeps his gun safe in our big closet. My husband was working nights so I had to go in the gun safe and take one of his guns out to protect myself. When I went into the living room with the gun I saw the intruder. I started screaming and I told him that I was going to call the police immediately. The man ran away without stealing anything from my home. I’m a very light sleeper and this is how I heard the intruder come into my home. Recently I heard a noise that was not an intruder but it definitely woke me up. It is my very annoying heat pump system that keeps on turning on and off I’m not sure if that is normal but I don’t think it is. I feel like the on and off is a bit excessive but it is providing ample amount of heat into my bedroom. I believe that my heat pump is oversized. When I talk to a new HVAC technician he asked me if I was experiencing my heat pump that cycles more than needed and in short cycles. I’m guessing that the old HVAC provider that I went with used wrong calculations of my home for the pump system. I am a bit upset with this because I’m going to have to pay more money for a different HVAC provider to fix the mistake.

I tried to do everything I could to help my furnace when it began running inefficiently.

I started noticing how often the furnace was running and how difficult it was to heat my cabin evenly, and before calling an Heating and Air Conditioning professional, I tried replacing the air filter to see if that would help.

The ancient air filter was covered in dust and debri, so I felt confident that the clean air filter I was replacing it with would do the trick. However, even though the clean air filter legitimately helped a little, I didn’t notice a significant change in the frequency my furnace was running! Next, I checked the outside unit to see if there were any branches or tall lawn covering it. I cleared a few sticks and trimmed the bushes back, even though I still didn’t notice a difference in my furnace efficiency. I broke down and hired an Heating and Air Conditioning professional because I knew I’d done what I could to get my furnace running normally again. The Heating and Air Conditioning professional was kind and considerate and he was honestly impressed with me for replacing the air filter and clearing the outside unit, and unluckyly, the real issue was the fan limit switch. The switch was faulty and the thermostat wiring was tangled. I was upset about the cost to repair the limit switch, but the Heating and Air Conditioning professional said it was legitimately incostly. I’m glad I did what I could before calling an Heating and Air Conditioning professional, and I’m glad the situation wasn’t worse than it was.

For as long as I’ve known my fiance, he has always been a good Heating and Air Conditioning company for the town. He started his journey as an Heating and Air Conditioning company as soon as he graduated from high school, and he’s worked countless hours to become the best that he can be. He’s worked for two odd Heating and Air Conditioning companies and a few years ago he branched out on his own! A lot of homeowners cherish his professionalism and friendly demeanor, so they followed him once he left a giant Heating and Air Conditioning supplier and became an individual Heating and Air Conditioning company… Since my fiance works for himself now, a lot of his business supplies are kept in his truck or in the garage, but my friend and I have young kids coming in and out of the garage on their bikes and with their friends, so it was honestly important for us to keep his Heating and Air Conditioning supplies out of reach and locked away. My fiance purchased two giant lodgeets to use as storage in the garage, and they’re both labeled and locked. He keeps numerous heat and air parts and chemicals inside, and our kids are instructed not to mess with those lodgeets… We’ve sat them down and told them all about their dad’s work and how he has to keep some of his things stored in the garage, but they’re only for him. My fiance keeps things like antifreeze, freon, insulation, and random chemicals stored in the lodgeets, and of course, kids like to play in things that they shouldn’t, so the locks were honestly important. My fiance has also had to learn to remember to lock the lodgeet after each use.

One of the worst things about dealing with my Heating and A/C system is hiring an Heating and A/C professional to come service it.

The Heating and A/C business I use is charming, but I hate having to be apartment for the appointments.

I live alone, so I constantly have to take a personal afternoon to let the Heating and A/C professional in. Sometimes, I can get away with a long supper break, but it’s a risk because I never know which Heating and A/C professional is going to show up and how suddenly they’re going to work, then during my last Heating and A/C service appointment, I was told I’d need to update my Heating and A/C system within a few months. It was over 12 years outdated and costing me an arm and a leg to keep running. It felt like I was always calling the Heating and A/C business to come repair it and I didn’t have numerous personal mornings left. I was upset about the Heating and A/C replacement though, because I knew I didn’t know how long it would take to unlink the outdated Heating and A/C system and update it with the modern Heating and A/C system. I took one personal afternoon and prayed that the Heating and A/C business could have everything done in one afternoon instead of two. To my surprise, they detached the outdated Heating and A/C system and updated it with the modern Heating and A/C system in under 3 hours! Once the modern Heating and A/C system was installed, they spent another 30 minutes cleaning up their mess and they were out the door before suppertime. Thankfully, I was able to squeeze in a half afternoon at work instead of missing a full afternoon!

In the summertime where I live there is so much going on, however when I have friends who want to get-together and plan ahead of time I always tell them that if I have to cancel last minute due to labor please don’t get mad at me. Where I labor I am always on call! It doesn’t matter where I am, I am required to drop everything that I’m doing and go to where my labor needs me, however for example there was this one time where I was helping my guy install his window air conditioner into his living room, however he does not have central cooling or heat in his home. His household is really small and he relies on his ceiling fan and window air conditioner in the summertime and his portable electric heater in the winter season time. When installing his window air conditioner you need two people to lift it up because it is really heavy… So when I was helping him install his air conditioner I got a call from work, and I knew that I had to go somewhere immediately, and as I answered my iPhone I thought that I could hold the air conditioner with one hand and answer my iPhone with my other hand; Turns out that I was wrong. The window air conditioner fell straight on the floor, cracking the bottom of the air conditioner’s plastic, and my guy was a little aggravated but he realized that it would not affect the functionality of the air conditioner. I literally did “drop everything” to answer my iPhone and to go for where labor needed me. Whoops!
