I hoped the Heating and A/C service tech would arrive soon. When he got there, he told me to call a plumber. The boiler was in pretty good condition, but the pipes needed replacing. I asked him how a boiler worked, plus why I didn’t have a furnace. He told me a boiler heated water, plus the water flowed through metal pipes plus the heat from the pipes sent heat into the house. I called my younger sibling who was a plumber plus told him I needed brand new water pipes for the boiler system. I didn’t understand anything he was saying about the boiler system, but I understood needing a plumber.

I was eighteen, plus never once Dad asked for my opinion. I had to go with the ductless. My folks and I had ductless Heating and A/C installed in time for summer.

I prefer being in my new pool, but it really gets boiling on the deck. The poolside is all concrete plus the sun heats it up to where my little toes are on fire if I don’t wear my sandals. Bob regularly tells me he has the fans running, even though he still doesn’t feel he needs a better air conditioning unit. I hope my father has the ability to continue working outdoors for a long time. If he ever needs to stay inside plus use air conditioning to be comfy, I feel Bob will just supply up.
