Last week, lightning hit the large pine tree in our backyard, and it landed on top of the house.

With all the water damage, and possible damage to the foundation, it could take several months to rebuild. He gave us enough money to stay in a hotel for a week until he could find us an apartment while the house was being rebuilt. It was just our luck to get a hotel room that had a wet floor from a leaking HVAC unit, and there was no air conditioning. I was happy when the insurance agent called the next day and told us we had an apartment. We could get our personal belongings out of the house while he secured the apartment. I ripped up the letter and threw it in the trash, but the next letter I acquired had to be signed for. I sad the entire time I was driving to the post office to sign for my letter. I was sad about being embarrassed, if I had forgotten to pay my taxes, or hadn’t paid a bill on time, when I got the letter, I almost laughed. The Heating and A/C worker had filed a lawsuit against me, then he said my cat had bitten him in the leg, and he was unable to work. I remembered that incident. It wasn’t my cat that bit, but the neighbor’s cat. When the Heating and A/C worker kicked the cat, it bit him. It only latched onto his pants, and I could not guess there was anything more than a bruise. I called my lawyer and made an appointment to talk to him. I showed him the paperwork, and asked if the Heating and A/C worker could entirely get that much currency from me. I told him what had happened. He asked if I was sure it was my cat, and I told him I was positive; My cat was inside the house, and I took a picture of him in his crate. It was dated the same day the incident happened. I called the EMT’s plus had them come to the property plus check him out. She was going to have a nasty bruise on her butt, plus the snake bite may get sore, but it wasn’t dangerous. I told the EMT I would have laughed if the Heating plus A/C serviceman hadn’t been hurt. It was after that I could not hold back the laughter. The Heating plus A/C serviceman sat there plus soon joined me in laughter. She said it hurt too much to laugh. I was sure that once she got back to the Heating plus A/C company plus told them what had happened, there would be more laughter.

I didn’t know what was wrong with my air, but without the a/c, I was getting sick. I knew it had to be due to the bad air quality, but the AQI was excellent today, and I wasn’t sure what was happening.
