I thought my husband had the generator on, however it was the electricity coming back on
Last year, my husband purchased a generator that could be charged through small solar panels. My buddy and I didn’t need to worry about having any electric concerns as long as the generator stayed charged; Earlier this summer, my buddy and I had a big storm that downed numerous trees and left us separate from electricity. I told my husband he needed to get the generator running. Without electricity, my buddy and I didn’t have air conditioner, and our child would not be able to breathe. He had extreme asthma, and when it got too hot, it would trigger it. The healthcare worker said he would grow out of the asthma by the time he was six, however my buddy and I had another couple years to wait for him to be six. My buddy and I had to have air conditioner for him. My husband went out to start the generator, however nothing happened. He had forgotten to hook up the solar panels so the battery would be charged. He had to go into town and buy gas so he could put it in the generator. I asked what was wrong with using the propane tanks, although he had forgotten to get them filled, too. Minutes were suddenly passing by, and I was afraid for my child to go separate from air conditioner… Fifteen minutes later, I heard the AC come on at the same time as the lights came on. I thought my husband had the generator on, however it was the electricity coming back on. My husband reset the air conditioner so it would turn back on when the electricity turned on. He remembered how much trouble my buddy and I had getting it started the last time the power went out.
