Since she is competing in a dance competition close to where I live and wants to stop by for a few days, I have my ex-bestie’s best friend from Finland coming to stay with me for a few days. Since I have been concentrating my energy on music and don’t yet have time for a relationship, my friend and I are just in the friend zone and I am not expecting anything. If I don’t have a current relationship to develop and work on, I think I can devote more time plus energy to my music. Maybe I’m wrong, but my friend who is an expert in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning says that I am doing the right thing by putting all of my attention into my music job. I feel as though there might be something with music in the upcoming years and that I should concentrate on it now before time passes and the dream disappears! Anyway, with summer approaching and the weather once more heating up, my gas heating system is finally getting the rest it needs. The area is busier now than it was a few weeks ago, and it will be busier still next month when more tourists arrive. The local supplier receives more business, and they are ecstatic when summer arrives because that is when they earn the most money for the entire year. I chose a great place to live and I don’t see myself moving anytime soon. I want to stay in this apartment for a very long time because I enjoy where I live. I live about two to three minutes by bike from the ocean, and the grocery store is about two minutes away. The population of this neighborhood is around 30,000, and it is just big enough to be energetic and a place where you could spend the rest of your life without getting bored like in a small town. The summer months bring a lot of tourists to this neighborhood, which adds to its charm. However, because local businesses thrive during the summer, many of them, including the local company, close their doors at the end of the season and relocate to other, less expensive nations where they can live and unwind until the next summer season arrives. Since all of the visitors will depart and return to their regular lives at the beginning of November, it will remain in place through May 11. In an effort to attract more customers this summer, the most recent business in the area will offer steep discounts on its air conditioning systems and filters in-store. They have some sound systems in place, and it appears to be going to be a genuinely mediocre summertime season, so I think they will succeed. I am currently in the middle of my workday and should be finished by the time the market’s opening bell rings in two hours.

It is 1:30 p.m.

I no longer reside in the United States, unlike my sister who is far away in the Far East, and the market hours are a little strange here because my friend and I are six hours ahead of my hometown. I also just coughed, and the coughing made my sore throat genuinely hurt, which served as a reminder that I am still sick and need to rest more in order to recover. Despite the fact that I am feeling pretty lousy and don’t think I’ll be able to play this week, my friend and bandmate who is a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning specialist wants to play. I feel I should just take a few more days off before my friend and I hit the streets and resume our activities because my voice is too weak and scratchy to sing and my energy level is too low to play the drums. A nice crowd always gathers when my friend and I perform outside of her store next to the enormous Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system in the front of the shop, which is great for the modern business in the neighborhood. I believe that in three more days I will be ready to rock once more, and my friend and I will play for a few hours as we usually do. My space heating system takes up a lot of room, so I am finally getting ready to pack it up for the summer so I can move it up into the attic until the following winter.

I haven’t worked out for three days, and I feel like a fossilized dinosaur.

I’ve been suffering from something for a few days, so I’m trying to rest and give my body time to heal so that I can resume being me.

I haven’t experienced a few days of rest like this in a long time, and I believe it is my body’s way of telling me to slow down and take some time to appreciate the little things. Like an HVAC system that runs nonstop throughout the summer, it is easy to keep pushing yourself. In order for the body to have the energy to fight off illnesses like the one I currently have, you need to give it enough time to rest. Last winter, I ran my oil heater constantly without ever cleaning the filter, and one afternoon, it finally caved in and stopped working, alerting me to the fact that I need to do more maintenance if I want to stay comfortable during the chilly winter days. I put a lot of pressure on myself, and I need to start taking better care of my body by drinking less Coors and consuming fewer unhealthy foods. I enjoy getting a burger from the neighborhood store once a week, sometimes even twice. However, I may need to cut back on that and start eating more vegetables like my heating technician friend does. She is genuinely healthy and sometimes makes me feel bad for eating a burger, but at least I cut out sugar from my diet a few years ago.

I’m working diligently this week, and I’ll treat myself to a year’s worth of Spotify access to our band’s music as a reward. We currently have 25 songs written by my friend and I, and I’d like to post the majority of them for people to listen to in order to gauge how people will react to it. I believe that my friend and I have about six or seven pieces of music that are genuinely nice that we could upload to the website, and perhaps even more, even though I need to speak with my bandmate to find out which songs she enjoys the most. When the store is open, the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier frequently plays our music for the cooling representatives who work there all afternoon. I just want to be kind enough to play shows in our community and other towns, go on tour, and generally make people happy with our upbeat original music. Because I like to create contemporary music and don’t just copy other people’s success, my friend and I don’t perform cover songs like the cooling representative suggested we should. Our music is essentially beach punk rock, and my friend and I definitely have our own sound. Hopefully, people will enjoy this sound and want to hear more of it. If my friend and I keep working hard on it and use our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C work currency to fund the mission, it will happen in a matter of time. I will continue working for the local company while my friend and I fine-tune our music and get to where my friend and I need to be. No effort goes unappreciated.

Due to the fact that our band name has not yet been used on Spotify, my friend and I believe we can upload our music there and claim that space before someone else does. Do you agree that the name “Bad Endings” for a band is pretty cool? That’s what my friend and I called it because most of our earlier music had genuinely terrible endings because we couldn’t seem to get the timing of when to end the song down. My friend and I have now slightly improved upon our endings, and they are also not as rough as they were in the earlier music. The Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning company told me that my friend and I could appear on 150 music stations for the low price of $15 per year, which is incredibly affordable considering the exposure we could receive from the local businesses that play the music! I used to perform stand-up comedy until a few years ago, and one time this comedian saw me on television while he was eating Chinese food in Spain, which was pretty bizarre considering that was the only show I had ever done. In order to ensure that my visitor has clean air when she comes to visit me in a few days, I’m going to wash the old washable HEPA filter today. It would be the worst to get someone sick who is coming to visit you, so I just need to get rid of this flu or whatever it is in my body so I don’t get her sick, too. She will soon arrive after attending a summit on heating and cooling technology in a different neighborhood.

I have this love for grilled cheese.Even though I’m hankering for a grilled cheese sandwich, I don’t think it would be a good idea to indulge just yet due to my current flu and lung congestion.

For the sake of getting rid of this and feeling better, I believe I will have to go without my favorite sandwich for a few more days.

I might indulge in a grilled cheese binge that afternoon and consume five of them, but that might be going a bit too far and making me feel ill once more. Since the HEPA filter salesman informed me that drinking cucumber juice is good for the immune system, I am confident that I can have some. I was eating a grilled cheese sandwich almost every afternoon, which is really a bit excessive. Additionally, it’s possible that this is what made me feel ill in the first place. If you’ve never tried Havarti cheese, try it on a grilled cheese sandwich. I think you’ll agree that it tastes fantastic. The local supplier sells this genuinely nice cheese. In addition to tasting much better than white bread, spelt bread, which I use, is said to be healthier. This week, as it gets warm outside on a Saturday afternoon, my ductless mini split keeps me comfortable and cool while I work. I’m trying to legitimately rest a lot and eat nice foods so I’m well when plus if my friend arrives this coming Saturday. She’s supposed to come visit me in a couple of days if I’m feeling better.

Well, I spoke too soon yesterday when I mentioned my stock was up 33% because by the end of the day it was down 20%.

• What a rollercoaster ride this company has been on and I am starting to think I am on a sinking ship now, but I need to just keep riding it and see what happens because I want to try to get back what I lost.

It is an all or nothing thing at this point, but I won’t sink any more money into it because I won’t have a dime to my name if so. HVAC repairs is where I got that money from working the past 25 years and I put it into the stock when I thought it was a good time, but my heating supplier mom was right when she told me to leave it in the bank. It was $100K a year ago when I bought the shares at $10 each and now it has shrunk down to about 20 cents a share. The local business where I work keeps me going with work luckily or I would be knocking on doors of homes trying to clean HEPA filters and ductwork on my own. I think the general financial state of the world has been the same and I am not the only one suffering a loss, but it still doesn’t make me feel any better about my losses. I guess like the cooling rep told me, you have to just keep on pushing forward because money always comes and goes in our lives and there is a reason for it all.

It is 2pm now and I am going to take a nap for a while after I finish this article because my energy is starting to wane a bit and I want to rest and get back some of the energy.

It is nice to take a nap in my bedroom because it is in the back of the building and it is much cooler there because there is no sun in that part of the building.

Our flat is also in the middle floor of the building so it doesn’t get so hot here in the summer, making air conditioning not so necessary till the really hot months of the summer season. I will nap for an hour or so and let my body rest so it can ward off this thing that is making me feel less than ideal. I also have to clean my fireplace at some point so that when my guest comes to visit in a few days we can have a nice fire without any smoke billowing out from it. She will be here in three more days and I am hoping I am 100% by then so we can have a nice time for the three days she will be staying here. She works on furnaces and heaters for a living and I am thinking about asking her to help me with mine as it isn’t working so well and I would like to get it fixed before the winter comes. It is May now so I still have a lot of time till the cold season hits.
