Summer is a time when there are a lot of storms. My friend and I frequently have rain every single day. There is usually a small shower every afternoon when the sunshine is at the highest point. All of the heat and humidity fill the clouds and cause it to rain, then from time to time, my friend and I also have to deal with tropical storm interest and hurricanes. Hurricanes can happen anytime from June until October and as late as October or September. I’ve had to endure a lot of strenuous rain and summer time storms, however nothing compares to the storm that my friend and I had last year. It started raining in the morning and it continued to rain heavily all day and all night. At one point my friend and I were receiving up to 2 inches an hour. I’ve never seen so much rain in my life and I have lived in a wet, tropical environment for the past 25 years. After all of the rain, there was sizable flooding all over the city. It flooded in my city. All of the storm drains were backed up and filled with water and there were puddles all over the city. The worst part about the storm was the damage in our garage. The garage was under a foot of water. My friend and I lost a lot of things that were sitting in boxes, including a brand new window cooling system. The cooling system was sitting in a box on the floor, waiting to be installed. Unfortunately, it started raining before I could get the labor done and the flooding was completely and totally unexpected.
I did not want to call someone to help
I actually did not want to call someone for help although I did not have any choice when my partner came home from labor and that problem still had not been fixed; He insisted it was time to call someone
On Wednesday morning, I woke up and it was actually sizzling inside of the house… It was humid too. I knew there must be an issue with the cooling system, because I did not feel any cold air coming out of the vents. The cooling system should have been running with hot and cold temperatures as sizzling as they were. I checked the thermostat and it seemed to be just fine. The only thing that was wrong was the fact that it was 69° in the condo and the cooling system did not turn on. There was nothing coming out of the vents including sizzling or cold air. I told my partner that I was going to repair the problem on my own; After all, I had the whole day off from labor and plenty of time on my hands. I felt certain that I would find a way to service the cooling system without contacting an costly service, then my partner went to labor and she told me to call her when I had the service finished, and unfortunately, I actually couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the system. My friend and I had to pay for an after hours emergency call. My friend and I would have saved that cash if I would not have been so stubborn earlier that morning. My husbandy and I went to the diner on Monday, right before my associate and I went to the films. We were going to see the newest comedy that was part of a series. I proposed going to the diner first so my associate and I did not have to spend money for lavish theater food. My husbandy and I sat down at a table near the back of the restaurant. It was really busy, especially for a Monday night. My husbandy ordered the Blue Plate special and I ordered meatloaf and au gratin potatoes. The indoor hot and cold temperatures were warmer than they are usually. I asked our waiter if there were concerns with the air conditioning system system. I thought that I might be able to help, because I work for an Heating and Air Conditioning repair contractor in the community. The manager for the diner thanked me for offering to help, despite the fact that he told me that they had already contacted someone to address the air conditioning system concerns. The guy called a commercial AC repair repair nearby. Unluckyly, the air conditioning system repair contractor was not going to be there until the next afternoon. They had a couple of extra fans running in the diner but that’s all they could do to help the indoor hot and cold temperatures until the next afternoon.
We found someone to handle the repair
My fiance and I decided to go away for the weekend and my associate and I left our son’s condo alone, and both of our boys are youngsters and one of them has a driver’s license.
- We knew they would be able to handle an emergency if something came up.
My parents live close to, just in case they needed something pressing. My fiance and I left on Monday night after work. We told the boys not to invite anyone over unless they called us first, however jack, our 16 year old, called me later that afternoon to see if his husbandy could come over and spend the night. I called his parents to make sure they knew that I was not going to be condo all weekend. After they found out that there would be no adults in the house, they reconsidered the offer to let their child go to the house. My son was really unhappy that I called his parents, although I wanted to make sure they knew there were no parents in the house. My son did not answer the iphone when I called later that night, which really upset me. I called again the next afternoon before my associate and I went to a wedding. My son was upset because the AC component in the house wasn’t laboring. He said it was 90° inside of the house. I had to call three odd AC repair companies before I found someone that was willing to repair the concern without an adult in the house. Most of the AC repair companies would not go to the condo without someone over 18 present.

When I was a kid, my parents had a space boiler downstairs in the kitchen.

The property did not have undoubtedly good insulation, and sometimes there was ice inside of the property on the window. There was never any snow on top of the property due to the loss of heat. The roof was really warmer than the rest of the property due to heat rising. Snow frequently melted off the roof and ended up down on the ground. My buddy and I had a lake of water in the front yard. My parents used space heating systems to keep the property warm. There was a space boiler in the kitchen. The space boiler was one of the giant machines that had red coils that get harshly hot. One time my sibling touched the coils and she ended up with a immense burn on the back of her hand. On one recognizable night, everyone was asleep. Our pet was downstairs as usual, however this time she decided to get into mischief. The pet was playing around and accidentally knocked over the space boiler in the kitchen. No one knew about the accident until the carpet caught on fire. My parents woke up in the middle of the night when they stinked smoke. My buddy and I didn’t have any type of smoke detector or fire alarm in our property back then. My buddy and I got out before anyone got hurt and my dad put out the fire before it burnt down the whole house. That was one of the scariest situations that I have ever faced in my whole life.
The flooring and the HVAC machine need to be updated
My wife and I have been buying and selling real estate for the past 10 years! During the last year, my buddy and I have bought several strange properties.
The last apartment that my buddy and I purchased needed brand current flooring and replaced HVAC equipment.
The old and rundown apartment didn’t have central heating or cooling. It was pressing to get a contractor out to the apartment to find out how much it was going to cost to replace the heating and cooling machine plus the flooring. The flooring was a problem that needed to be solved too… Not only was the flooring old and useless, however there were several spots in the kitchen and the kitchen where the floor was warped and the wood needed to be updated. I entirely wanted to find a contractor that could handle all of the work. Unluckyly, there aren’t a lot of building contractors that also handle HVAC machine repairs and replaces. I did find a contracting company near the apartment that could handle the flooring. After the flooring repairs and replaces were made, I contacted a strange company that handles HVAC machine upgrades. It took almost a week to install all of the air duct for the heating and A/C equipment, however now the property is up to code and ready for a current renter, however we’re going to rent the property for a couple of years until the market is better in this part for selling. With the replaces, my buddy and I should be able to fetch close to the high end of the market price at $1481/weekly.
